“Fresh as the thoughtless drip me out the spat words. As clean as a protruding fingernail, a thought shouldered. When I am as I am I am the mercy of my exposure, blanked in the light. A column of ramble, uncollected folds of arm, leg, origamied into the convenience of others, a power I don’t know how not to wield. I watch the windows. I study the geometry of the frame; the exposure of limbs in delay; of creased movements conducted in unwatch. I study the sound of the street as it angles in, cuts the meaning slim. I swallow. Sometimes I forget the watching body and am brushed and scream to be full. Sometimes I want to bite off the scream and be the rind that skins the horizon of my seed. I want to be easily thumbed and flicked. I want to be dripped in the bathe and unmade by the reed slip."
